About

Brittany Roughton in Paris, black blazer, Haussmann architecture

I'm a photographer, curator, and creative director based in Miami — and wherever the work takes me.

I studied photography in Los Angeles, where I learned the craft, but it was travel, design, and a deep love of objects that shaped the way I actually see. My work lives in the space between disciplines: portraits and interiors, still life and landscape, the made and the found.

I founded Crystals.com — a curated source for rare minerals and crystals, working with interior designers and collectors who want objects with real presence and provenance. The collecting practice and the photography come from the same place: a compulsion to find beauty in the specific, the material, the strange.

I travel to source: gem shows in Tucson and Denver, design weeks in Milan and beyond. Across everything I make, I'm drawn to the same things — the feeling of a place, the energy between people, the quiet detail most people walk past. I care about intention, materiality, and light.

I work with brands, hotels, designers, and publications on photography, creative direction, and curation.
