I've been chasing light since I was young, first on film, then through whatever I could get my hands on. I spent a decade in Los Angeles, where I studied photography and built my eye, though it was travel and a love of objects that shaped more of how I actually see. I've traveled constantly, through more than twenty-five countries, and I've never been just one thing. I'm a photographer, a creative director, and a founder.

I built Crystals.com from nothing into a recognized brand, doing the sourcing, the photography, the art direction, and the marketing myself. That taught me how a business actually works, and how much of it comes down to the image. I bring that same eye to the work I make for other people.

The collecting and the photography come from the same place. A pull toward beauty in the specific, the material, the strange. I'm always on a kind of treasure hunt, looking for objects with character, the ones that carry a story.

Across everything I make, I notice the same things. The feeling of a place. The quiet detail most people walk past. I care about intention, materiality, and light.
